The Barn and Lawn is an all purpose function venue at Meerendal Wine Estate that is situated in the cool Durbanville area twenty minutes outside Cape Town. The buildings on the farm have been restored in order to accommodate the new vision of making Meerendal a home for food and wine.

Meerendal used to have a big herd of cattle and the barn was used as a dairy for many years. Today the beautifully renovated Barn with the spacious lawn next to it is the perfect venue for an elegant dinner, special celebration or corporate event.

The Lawn area was specially created to enhance the look and feel of the venue and any kind of marquee can be put up on this large green area to accommodate up to 500 guests. A modern kitchen has been built to provide the best cuisine for any event. Meerendal’s famous wines that are served will complement any event.
